LOSS OF AGENT LINDA PT 2

Agents Louis, Carl and myself boarded a jet out of Ft. Lauderdale to New York. When we landed we were met by other Agents that had leads on where they might be with the parts. Most of the information led us to believe that they were heading west of New York towards Buffalo to cross the boarder into Canada.

We all got on another jet and flew to Buffalo Niagara International and met some more agents. It turns out the men we were after had been stopped by the local police and two officers were shot. One officer was still in critical condition. This case was now way out of hand and these guys needed to be taken off the street.

We got a lead that the men were held up north of Niagara Falls. I boarded a helicopter with Agents Carl and Ted and headed to where we thought the men might be hiding out. We flew over Niagara Falls and landed in Whirlpool State park. Upon landing we were met by the local police and more of our agents.

Chief Gill of the police department said that the men were at a house on Spring Street near the railroad. Everybody split up into cars and headed south on Robert Moses Pkwy to Spring Street. The house at that address was empty. It looked like people had been there and left shortly before our arrival.

I was standing in one of the bedrooms and looking out the window when I noticed a bridge and rail road tracks that ran not to far away from were we where. One Agent called to the bridge to see if any one had crossed in the last hour in a van. There hasn't been any crossing all day, the bridge was closed for repair.

Someone brought in a map and it showed that you could get on a train at Depot Ave. and that one track crossed into Canada. Chief Gill took his men down to Depot Ave. Most of our agents headed towards the bridge and the train tracks near where it crossed into Canada. Some other agents, along with Agent Carl, Ted and I, stayed behind and looked at the map again to see if there was another way to cross over the Niagara River. Chief Gill called and said they had found nothing but someone had seen a van pulling a boat.

I remembered that last time these guys used a boat to get away so we headed down to where the train tracks crossed over the river. The van and trailer were there but no boat. We got back into our cars and headed towards the bridge.

Agents from Canada and their Special Force team met us on the Canada side. They had found the boat at the train trestle still in the river but no one was around. I mentioned to Lt. Phil, from the Canadian Special Force team, about their use of trains. He knew of an abandon drug house on Erie Avenue about one mile away where train tracks met and crossed each other.

We all left heading towards the house which was about 75 yards from the tracks. As we approached the house automatic fire rang out. Lt. Phil and his group of Special Force men had the situation under control in less than ten minutes. We got a chance to watch and learn. This time we were able to retrieved all the missile parts. Many more gang members and two women were killed. One member killed was the driver of the car that killed Agent Linda. Good job, we all said.
